  • Heavy coating of proprietary iron oxide red silicone rubber sheds molten metal splash immediately, minimizing heat transfer.
Withstands Intense Radiant Heat and Flame
  • Withstands continuous exposure to 500F (260C).
  • Handles intermittent exposure up to 2000F (1090C) for 1520 minutes.
  • Resists short-term exposure up to 3000F (1650C) for 1520 seconds.
  • When exposed to flame, the silicone rubber transforms into a protective SiO2 refractory crust.
  • All temperature ratings are DMT certified.
